Rio Tejo · Belver–Pego
A Tejo descent between Belver dam and Pego weir, with rapids and a pace affected by dam releases.

What you will experience
The broad river can develop strong currents when the dam releases water. Rapids near Belver and the Pego power-station weir distinguish this section from Tejo I.
Along the route
The proposal follows the Belver–Pego section and includes a riverside break for rest and food. When the dam is not releasing water, the length may be adjusted to conditions and the group's fitness.
What to bring
Bring food for the planned riverside break.
Requirements & preparation
Dam releases and currents form part of assessing the outing. Share the group's experience and fitness; the format should not be assumed suitable for everyone.
